Diademed head with hair in ringlets to left and eight-pointed star within beaded square; in outer margin, mint and date in Kufic. Rev. in inner field, 'al-Imam / al-Mustansir / billah Amir / al-Mu'minin'; in outer margin, 'Badr al-Dunya wa al-Din Lu'lu' al-Malik al-Kamil al-Malik al-Ashraf'; all in Kufic. Spengler & Sayles 68. Somewhat rough and with a flan crack, otherwise, very fine.
